Manager and strategist of innovation ecosystems

Pavel is in daily contact with entrepreneurs, managers, and researchers looking for new ways to achieve business success and sustainability. As a consultant, he has been involved in the design and validation of many services, programmes, and other activities supporting entrepreneurship and innovation in the Czech Republic and abroad. In 2017, he participated in the establishment of the Moravian-Silesian Innovation Centre Ostrava. Under his leadership, MSIC has become one of the most respected innovation centres in Central Europe and a model for the creation of similar organisations in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Pavel describes himself as an architect of innovation ecosystems. After seven years at the helm of MSIC, he is changing his role. From being a manager, he is becoming an entrepreneur. In his new role, he continues to strive to make the Czech Republic attractive to pioneers and innovators and to facilitate the transformation of society into a knowledge-based economy. Pavel likes to spend his free time on the move, especially in the mountains, with or without skis.
