Michal Eid (CZE)

Clinical oncologist

 

Michal works at the Internal Haematology and Oncology Clinic of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University and University Hospital Brno. He has been working in oncology for 11 years and is mainly involved in the field of digestive tract cancer, urinary tract cancer, precision oncology and rare tumours.

 

 

After his studies at the 2nd Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague, Michal was awarded the Rector's Prize for the best graduate of medical disciplines. During his studies, he was already determined to pursue oncology. Currently, he works daily with adult cancer patients, a significant number of whom are diagnosed at an advanced and metastatic stage.
Since 2023, he has been the chairman of the Young Oncologists Section of the Czech Oncological Society, and together with other colleagues holds lectures to the general public on prevention in oncology.
In his spare time, he likes to travel, play sports, and relaxes most when he goes on a long-distance walk.
