Katarína Klingová (SVK)

Senior Research Fellow, Centre for Democracy & Resilience

 

Katarína is a Senior Research Fellow at GLOBSEC, an international think-tank based in Bratislava, Slovakia. Since 2016, she has been conducting research at the Center for Democracy and Resilience, which focuses on defending democracy from subversive activities of domestic and foreign actors, analyzing tactics and tools used in information operations.

 

 

She has authored or co-authored numerous analyses on the impact of information operations and social media on democratic societies and elections. She maps good practices in building societal resilience to hybrid threats and analyzes strategic communication of public institutions. Previously, she worked for Transparency International Slovakia and the European Commission.
Katarína holds two master's degrees. In 2011, she obtained a degree in European Studies from Comenius University in Bratislava and in 2013 she obtained a degree in Political Science from Central European University in Budapest.
