Jana Halámková is the head of the Prevention Centre of the Masaryk Cancer Institute, the largest cancer centre in the Czech Republic. She is the Chair of the Prevention Section of the Czech Cancer Society and author or co-author of a number of Czech and international publications.

Jana is part of the author team of the European recommendations for the treatment of rare tumours ESMO-EURACAN and national recommendations for the treatment of cancer. She teaches at the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University in Brno. She has completed several international internships, among others in Belgium and France.
