As a scientist, Daniel is looking for connections between human movement and health. He was the Principal Investigator of the Movement Activity and Health Programme in the Healthy Ageing in the Industrial Region research.
He graduated in Physical Education and Physics at the University of Ostrava, and completed his doctoral studies in Kinanthropology at Palacký University in Olomouc in 2014. During his doctoral studies, he worked in the USA at the University of Massachusetts. He is the founder of the Centre for Human Movement Diagnostics at the University of Ostrava, and since 2021, he is also the Dean of the Faculty of Education at the University of Ostrava.
