Vendula works at the Association for International Affairs (AMO), a non-governmental not–for–profit Prague-based organization. Its main aim is to promote research and education in the field of international relations. Vendula focuses on Czech foreign and European policy, the European Union and on its perception in the eyes of Czech society.
She holds a master's degree in International Relations from the Faculty of Social Studies of Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic, and a bachelor’s degree in History of Art from the Faculty of Arts of the same university. During her studies, she spent one semester at Missouri State University in Washington D.C. and at Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas, Lithuania.
Vendula gained her professional experience during her internships in the Brussels-based newspaper New Europe, in the European Parliament and at the Embassy of the Czech Republic to the USA. Between 2014—2019, she worked in the European Parliament in Brussels.
