Marcela Šik (CZE)
Storyteller, actress and teacher
Marcela is a performer and a great storyteller, she works in the theatre associations Bořivoj and Náměstíčko, and reads audiobooks for the blind.
She is a graduate of the Department of Creative Writing and Pedagogy at the Faculty of Dramatic Theatre at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, where she continues to work as an external teacher. The department opened the world of narrative theatre to her.
As an actress, she has played on the stages of several drama theatres, such as the Municipal Theatre Zlín, the Těšín Theatre, the Dvořák theatre in Příbram and several puppet theatre companies. As a medical clown, she has also visited children’s hospitals.
