Managing Director of Visa for the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia

Marcel Gajdoš heads Visa in the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia. In this role, he is responsible for the development of Visa's business activities and strengthening relationships with clients and partners in all the 3 countries.

Marcel joined Visa in 2006, and has served as CEO since 2012. From his position, he has helped accelerate the development of cashless and digital payments in the Czech Republic and made the Czechs pioneers in payment innovation. He participated in launching innovative services in the country, such as the Click to Pay payment method or the use of biometrics in payments. In the past, he worked for companies such as UniBanka Slovakia and Wells Fargo in the USA.
