Karel is a graduate of the Department of Authorship and Pedagogy at the Faculty of Theatre of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, a faithful follower and contributor to the work of the Salesians of Don Bosco, a member of the TV Noe team, a Facebook commentator. He is an undying fan of The Beatles and admirer of comedian Bill Hicks.
