Yael Antonio Vásquez Beltrán is a young researcher in particle physics from the ALICE-BUAP group in Puebla, Mexico. With a solid academic background, he holds a degree in Electronics Engineering and a Master's in Applied Physics.
Currently, Yael is pursuing his PhD, focusing on developing prototypes for the next-generation Muon Identification (MID) subsystem of the ALICE-3 experiment. His career includes significant participation in the ALICE collaboration and valuable experience at CERN, where he has worked on building and characterizing plastic scintillator detectors.
