Alissa is a former professional dancer turned global business leader with over 25 years of healthcare, consumer goods, and technology experience at industry giants including Johnson & Johnson and Google. At Google Cloud she pioneered strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 companies, steering digital transformation in healthcare through the innovative application of data, analytics, and AI.
Her tenure as an executive at Johnson & Johnson saw her at the helm of multi-billion-dollar businesses, demonstrating her agility in navigating the complex landscapes of both the Consumer and MedTech sectors. Her global perspective is enriched by her lived experience of working across the United States, Europe, and Asia. Alissa has served on the Board of Directors of The Honest Company (Nasdaq: HNST), Pulmonx Corporation (Nasdaq: LUNG), and is a member of the Board of Trustees of American Ballet Theatre. Recognized by Fierce Healthcare as one of the most influential minority healthcare executives, she was named to the Financial Times Agenda Diversity 100 and was honored by BoardProspects as one of 100 AAPI Board Directors Making a Difference. She is a Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute and holds two design patents. She is also an Entrepreneur in Residence at DigitalDx Ventures, a woman-led impact venture fund investing in innovation at the intersection of AI and healthcare.
Alissa is a frequent speaker and writer on the topics of digital transformation, health technology, and enlightened leadership. Before her business career, Alissa lived her childhood dream of becoming a professional dancer. She toured internationally for 6 years with the Limón Dance Company and Ralph Lemon Dance, performing at some of the world’s most prestigious venues including the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Lincoln Center, and the Cannes Dance Festival. She earned an A.B. in English at Princeton University and her M.B.A. at Columbia Business School.
