Few people know him under his civilian name Vladimír Brož. As Vladimir 518, he is a steadfast member of the Czech (street) art scene and with every new project he pushes the boundaries of genres, including his own.
He started out as a prominent figure of the Prague graffiti scene, later he devoted himself mainly to music projects, illustrations, comics or scenography. He collaborated with the experimental theatre group TOW, and is the founder of the audiovisual project SPAM and the comic newspaper KIX.
His musical projects with the band PSH and his solo albums, for which he has received numerous awards (e.g., the Anděl Award 2008, 2013), are a separate chapter. A significant achievement is the founding of the BiggBoss label and publishing house. His project Kmeny (Tribes) was also produced as a documentary series for Czech Television (2015). In 2022, after 10 years of work, Vladimir published his biggest book to date, Architecture 58-89, under the Bigg Boss publishing house. A documentary series for Czech Television and a feature-length documentary film of the same name are currently being produced for this project.
