Lucie Jarkovská (CZE)

Sociologist

Lucie focuses on gender and sexuality in education and upbringing, and likes popularizing these topics in a podcast. She is the author of two books on gender and feminism.

Lucie works at the Faculty of Education of Masaryk University in Brno, and cooperates with non-governmental organizations on programs of gender-sensitive education. She is a member of the Society for Family Planning and Sex Education. As part of the project of the National Institute for Research on the Socioeconomic Impacts of Diseases and Systemic Risks (SYRI), she researches social resilience and tests the principles of feminist and critical pedagogy in educational practice.
